like you?
Pages Read: 0-68
Insurgent is a really good book so far. The characters are so interesting and there are many new ones. I also like how all of the book titles sound the same and they all mean the same thing. The character that is most like me has to be Tris. She is very curious about life and she wants to experience everything there is. I'm like that, I always am aware of my surroundings and I love to learn more about things. Tris is also very unique and smart. She doesn't give up and she really inspires me. This book is having a very slow start but I know that in the end I will not regret reading it.
I think that the author Veronica Roth is really creative with these books. She has made this book all from her imagination and she was really interesting with the way she used the format. She made the characters unique and they all had something important to do with the book. I liked the way she made Tris and the way she acts makes her different. I love this book because of the plot and how the characters come out later in the book. The picture below is what Tris says to herself when she comes to a very difficult obstacle. She says this so she can regain her faith, and build off of these obstacles. She has been through physical obstacles and mental ones with love and hate. She uses this quote to boost her energy and make her stronger in the future.
I think the cover of this book really is great. It shows how everything works in a little picture. The title and the cover match and characters all tie together. I still don't know what insurgent means or what the tree stands for. Tris is the character that is most like me because we have the same personality qualities and we both think the same. She thinks about the future and how everything could be different, just like I do. She is very inspiring because she is the kind of person I like to call a role model. She is smart, brave, and unique. I love Tris and her amazing personality!
Nice blog! As you may be surprised to find out, the ending is both great and disapointing. Thats a lot of GIFs.
ReplyDeleteI didn't really like this book because I felt like it took forever for the story to get to the point, kind of like you pointed out, but it's worth finishing. You did a great job writing your blog, though. You pointed out various of reasons on why you are like Tris and that's cool. Good job.
ReplyDeleteI like your blog this week. I always like reading about how people are like characters in the books they are reading. That is cool because then you can connect to the story a little bit more. Nice blog. Are the books good? How was the first book, did you like it?
ReplyDeleteYou made Tris seem like an amazing character. I can see how you relate her to yourself. I've heard people talking about these books and it's kind of making me want to read it now. The quote that Tris says it very interesting and it makes sense. What is it that make Tris smart in the book? Well great job this week!
ReplyDeleteGreat blog this week! Tris seems like a great character, and by the ways you pointed out, he is very much like you. I never actually read any of this books before. Are they good?
