Prompt: What does this book remind you of?
Pages: 160 - 217
I'm almost done with the book. I haven't been reading a lot, and it is hard to get back on track. A couple nights ago, I read almost 10 chapters. I knew that I had to catch up, so I did. When I was reading I was really enjoying the book. I didn't want to stop, but it was way too late. I really like the book, and I am hooked on so far. Tris is really growing as a person, and she is learning more and more very day. She inspires me to keep on trying no matter what the outcome is. She is a really good character for this kind of book. She is interesting, smart, clever, and strong. She is my favorite character so far.
This book reminds me of the Hunger Games. It reminds me of it because the main character usually does something that is unexpected. Katniss volunteers as tribute, and Tris picks the Dauntless faction. Both of the main characters are a female role, and they do so many unexpected things. Also, in this book there is some kind of violence involved, just like the Hunger Games! Both of these books are alike and the books are all alike. There is suspense, violence, a love story, and hopefully an unexpected ending.
I was trying to think about how the author could come up with all of the characters, places, and conflicts. If I ever wrote a book, it would be a picture book or a short story. I am not able to write a long story, to me it is hard. I just wonder how authors and writer do it. I give them a lot of credit for making books that inspire people, and that make a lot of people enjoy the books. I just never expected a lot of things in this book. Fights, arguments, love parts, and sad parts. This book make me think, which is the kind of book I like to read. The kind that make you go back, and reread. I'm in love with this book, and I am excited to keep reading.
You did a very good job following the prompt. I also thought it was very similar to The Hunger Games. The gif that you posted is probably meant to show sadness, but I can't help laughing at it. Really, good job.
