Pages Read: 19-60
This book is getting really good. Macy has to get a job instead od having fun in the sun. She misses her boyfriend and she really wants to have someone there with her. Imagine not being with your best friend for 6 months, I would go crazy. She seems like she isn't very happy about her job because she just wants to be home like the last summer. Jason (her boyfriend) has had a job during the summer since he was able to. He is really smart and he knows a lot of information for his future. I think that they are a great couple, but I don't know if Jason thinks that...
After reading I wonder what Macy's parents think about Jason. They know all about them and her parents "seem" very supportive. I also wonder if Jason and Macy ever talk, like on the phone or if they text. I would think that they talk a lot since they are in "love" but maybe he doesn't think it's good? I'm not sure because in the book they don't really talk about them as a couple.
There are a lot of things that drew me to this book. I have been reading fictional books a lot and now I wanted to read something new. I was excited to start reading the book because I was looking for something that was interesting to me. I recommend this book to some of the girls in our class because the guys wouldn't understand it, and the girls would be able to connect or understand what she is feeling.
