Wow! This book is really great! It is full of interesting problems, characters, and experiences the characters have. I haven't read that far, but I already know that I will finish this book fast. The main character shows all of her emotions in her diaries. She tells how she feels about marriages, fights, and good things as well. In this book, it shows the life of a slave and how she thinks about life experiences.

I chose the prompt this week, by what the book was about. I saw that this book is very interesting, and it has all of the components that most good books have. An interesting poem or story would use very descriptive words, characters, and actions done by the characters. The book or poem also needs to be interesting for many ages. If a story is only funny for an adult, kids wouldn't want to read it. If the book is so good and all ages like to read it, then I know it's a good book. I've read good books and bad books, and I can tell what is interesting and what is not.  People like to read stories that are fun and intriguing. Mystery, comedy, suspense, horror, and romantic are the type of books people like to read. Don't you like to read these genres?

I recommend this book to all of the people in my class. It is interesting, real, and very true. It is so realistic and you can tell that someone was treated like the young girl in the book. If I wrote a book, this is the kind of format I would use to make it the best it can be. It will be in the diary form, and I wold talk about my life, and the way I feel about everything. I love this book, and I know you would love it too!
